Welcome into Mix - Room number 13. This one is not for the faint of heart. Some real deep beatdown house kicks off this session. Inspired by Speedy J and some new tracks by the incredible Coral D (albeit) sped up! I dive into 110 territory and explore the space between rhythms.

As the mix progresses, time seems to slow down and this I'm sure will be a delight on my bike rides and gym sessions. Perhaps yours too?

It's not all beatdown house and techno mind you, there are some latin and afro influenced tracks and of course a large helping of 'by the seat of your pants' mixing!

The vibe of this whole session sits very well within the theme of my Mix-room sessions so if you've vibed off those of late, you'll dig this I'm sure.

A new peak time slot on the D3ep radio network means a new session in my mind. New deserves new. So Here is a brand new club tackle set. I get straight into the groove on this, and just keep building the pressure as the set progresses, each tune guiding me to the next. As always I let the tunes breathe and build the intensity until we reach peak. Then calm you back down and hold your hand while we both catch our breath.

So on occasion I open up my record racks to the listeners. This "special" was my last Sunday slot on D3ep radio network. I asked the listeners to choose two numbers between 1, and 30. Left, middle or right and I let my fingers do the walking. Tunes were pulled, mixes attempted. Fun was had. Now available for you guys. Enjoy.

Really enjoyed this cover session. It was quite a peak time dance floor shaker. Loads in the mix. Enjoy. Minimal talk and maximal music. Dancing shoes at the ready. This goes hard.

Apologies for the delay in getting this one up guys. This show aired on the 06/06/2026. My first of the new time slot on Saturday nights. I hope you guys can join me at the new time slot of 21.00 on Saturday nights. Next show goes out on the 4th of July so I will be doing an American special. From Jazz to Gospel and everything in-between. Can't make the slot live, don't stress, I'll put it up here for eternity!

From my earliest exposure to dance music I was transformed. It took me to new places. Gave me new emotions. Something music hadn't done up to that point. I wanted to know more than just dancing, fun as it was. The cult of the DJ intrigued me, specifically blending two songs to make one. Being able to control the emotions of the dance floor. Twisting and shaping the vibe. It appealed immediately. After finding my way to a neighbours set up and discovering artists, labels, and genres. I started to hear about a chap selling "imports" from his house. The US garage as it was called then was mysterious. It was exciting. it was expensive.

A few years later I moved to Northampton and walking into Vinyl underground on that first occasion was, strange to say the least. Marching through a few floors of sofas and furniture, I wondered if I'd made it to the right place. When I got to the top floor everything made sense.

My musical journey was about to take an exciting turn, the foundations had been laid with the neighbours set up but here was a shop that seemed to sell all the tunes I needed and the tunes I didn't know I needed.

VU helped to create an attitude to DJing that has never left my sets. The desire to build a mood and create an emotional connection.

The music that I bought in those early years has absolutely stood the test of time and I wanted to do a "best of" set for this mix. However that would've ended up being a few days long, so I concentrated on creating a vibe. Something Aidy and the VU lads have nurtured over the years in the records they've pushed. Weaving an emotional feel through a set and creating a mood. Getting lost in rhythms and chords and building a connection with the listener. An evolving thing, not just big bangers.

This mix is a burner and rewards the listener who commits.
