4K BLUsday will be a recurring segment for Tuesdays which is the official new release day for 4K Ultra-HD Blu-ray, standard Blu-ray and DVDs in the United States. I have a history of working in the field for the medium, reviewing them and having a passion for collection movies dating back to childhood. I wanted to create a part of the show that embraces this side of me. This is something I’ve wanted to explore for a very long time.

Many of you will know I’ve been writing for Why So Blu for the last 7 years. In addition, I worked in the Quality Control industry for DVD and Blu-ray for about 4 years dating back to 2005.

What you’ll receive in this segment is a look at new announcements for the formats from the previous week and the notable new releases. You’ll get my thoughts and commentary on them, but you will also get some additional content for this by heading over to the YouTube page where I’ll showcase some of the title I talked about and more.

4K BLUsday is a more niche segment of The Brandon Peters Show and it may not be of interest for all listeners. Due to the popularity of my Why So Blu reviews and Instagram posts of my review copy Blu-ray arrivals, I decided to take it this step further.
