Jim Rutledge & Molly Brown discuss the "news" of the day across Wisconsin sports that Packers "reportedly" have a trade proposal on the table for Micah Parsons. They discuss the ridiculous, wild, unfounded (but fun) possibility of adding Micah to Green Bay, but only after revisiting yesterday's take from Jim that has gone viral once more. People don't like Jim's take that the Packers have the worst roster, outside of QB, in the NFC North. He goes back and forth to compare the Packers vs Bears, and they discuss how big the gap is between Green Bay from Detroit and Minnesota. They talk about predictions for the NFC North will play out, including how those might change if the Packers actually get Micah Parsons. Since we're throwing out hypotheticals, is it crazy to ask if Ed Policy will want final say on any deal since he chose not to commit to Gutey or Matt LaFleur beyond the final two seasons of their current contracts.
They look back at the most comparable example of a trade like this when the Packers were apparently in on REAL conversations to acquire Khalil Mack from the Raiders before the Bears did. Would you have traded another Super Bowl with Aaron Rodgers & Mack in exchange for having Jordan Love for the foreseeable future?
