This is an introduction to the 4th amendment, which protects citizens against unreasonable search and seizure by the government (including city, state, federal LEOs).  I can't even wrap my brain around how many times I've seen cases thrown out due to officers not understanding the 4th amendment as well as they need to, seizing some wonderful evidence, and then letting it get tossed in court because they either didn't understand the rules or chose not to follow them.  Master this amendment and your career will be much more successful and enjoyable!  I hope you leave S1E2 with more knowledge of the 4th, no matter your time in service.  May the 4th be with you.
