4DE Nation! You don't want to miss this one!! Whether you are a parent, specialist, coach or just a fan of special teams, this one is a fantastic interview. We interviewed long time college special teams coach, no retired, Travis Walch. We covered many topics that everyone can learn from. Before stepping away, Travis was a long time (and successful) Special Teams Coach with the University of St Thomas football program. Its the school co-host Chris Husby graduated from, and then later served as the Specialist Coach in the 2017 season. If there was a recruiting question out there for a specialist to hear, we covered it! We wanted to hear it from a coaches mouth! Everything from tips to talking to a coach, turn offs in recruiting, showcasing abilities, struggles freshman college specialists see and more! We ever talked about whether there is a future for specialist coaches at the college ranks. For the coaches listening, we talked special teams strategy, tips and ideas that can help your program. As we wrapped up the conversation, Travis gave his thoughts on the hottest topic in college football, what's next for the University of St Thomas football program, who was recently involuntarily removed from the M.I.A.C sports conference.

We hope you love this one. So many golden nuggets in this episode.

4DE Nation! Season 3, episode 2 (73) is a great one. We are joined with Houston Texans Punter Trevor Daniel. Great convo where we talked about his NFL Journey as a second year starter, punting tips and strategy, as well as covered his recruiting process. We love to hear success stories of specialists who make it to the NFL who weren't always the most highly recruited. Sometimes that makes us all grind a little harder. Episode 73 is a nice easy listen.

What’s Up 4DE Nation! Season 3 is starting soon! We have some exciting announcements to share with you! In the mean time we will be sharing our Top 15 interviews from the last 2 seasons! We have loved every single interview so far, so creating this Top 15 list was challenging. Check out our Twitter and Instagram account to see the episodes.

4DE Nation!  We have a great one here, especially if you are a fan of punting.  We interview Steelers Rookie Punter Ian Berryman.  He is also one of our Pro Specialist listeners of the 4DE podcast.  This is a great one as Ian talks about his experience at Rookie Camp and OTAs.  He talks about things he has learned so far, but also offers great advice on how he developed and found success as a punter.  We love his journey because he didn't punt until his senior year of high school and then had a very successful college career.  Further proof that if you put in the work, anything is possible.

Upcoming College/Free Agent June Camp

We have an upcoming kicking, punting and snapping camp for College and Free Agent specialists in Atlanta, GA on June 22-23. Camp will also feature Fred Mitchell! Camp open to All D1A, D1AA, D2, D3, NAIA & JUCO specialists as well as NFL & Free Agent Specialists.
