The 4WD crew is back for episode two, fed with homemade enchiladas and still buzzing from a last-minute Broncos comeback. Before diving in, we recap episode one in 30 seconds and grade our first attempt. Then we get to the good stuff. One of us rebuilt a transmission in his driveway, and one of us shed a single tear for the World Series champion Milwaukee Brewers.
We also talk some of the best burgers in the metro, swap stories about vacation spots that surprised us, and finally try the PB&J shot. Next we get curious about AI images and where the fun ends and the trouble starts. We face off over the most profound song lyrics ever written. To close, we officially kick off Hallmark season with a review of Harvest Homecoming and a theory about a demon lurking in the orchard.

4WD Podcast, Episode 1: Curiosity, Halloween Movies, and Questionable Opinions
Recorded: Sunday, October 25, 2026, from Eddie’s back patio Hosts: Eddie Wright, Singo Jeff, and Geoff Long
Episode description
Welcome to the first episode of 4WD! Three friends, a few beers and plenty of opinions nobody asked for. The name has two meanings. It’s four-wheel drive, because we plan to get a little muddy off the beaten path. It’s also “What Would Walt Whitman Do?”, after the Ted Lasso darts scene and the line “Be curious, not judgmental.”
In this episode we cover a work trip to Banff, the great hot dog sandwich debate, whether Lightning McQueen needs car insurance or life insurance, why we stopped putting so much pressure on young athletes, and whether college is worth what it costs. We finish with Halloween traditions, the scariest movies we’ve seen, and a 5K that one of us didn’t train for.
