This a special episode for a few reasons! It is our first episode with our new co host Trisha and we also talked with Amber Block, who started the Not A Pavement Princess event in Ontario. She also organizes the newbie runs for the OF4WD - Ontario Federation of 4wd Recreationists. The Alberta Outdoor Adventure Expo has a new May event this year in Red Deer, the Spring Gear Up! Wes chats with Dave and Jason about the new event and how it differs from their flagship event. Each event is unique, but the core values stayed the same. Both events are family focused to include not only overlanders, but also all forms of outdoor recreation.

Alberta resident Don Frankish is one of monster truck pioneers in Canada. In this episode, we talk about how he started off truck and tractor pulling with his family, then moved into the monster truck world with his Maniac monster truck. He explains how he came up with the concept for the Jurassic Attack monster truck and his experiences driving monster trucks around the world since the early 90's. There has been a lot of changes over the years with the truck technology and even the course layouts.

The GTA Jeep Girls is group of 1600 women living the Jeep Life. On International Womens Day, Nikki and Trisha joined Wes in a conversation about how their organization brought like minded female Jeep owners together and how it literally changed the lives of many women. With 9 chapters across Southern Ontario, members get together at local women only meetups as well as get out four wheeling. When in the bush, more experienced wheelers like Trisha teach new Jeepers proper driving, recovery and 4x4 etiquette.

When looking at the Instagram of Ryan Vanveen, the first thing you notice is his great eye for capturing incredible photographs. Then you notice other things like his love of forest fire lookouts, how much winter camping and outdoor sports he does and also his big campfires.  Ryan sat down with Wes to discuss the whole winter camping thing as well as their mutual love of forest fire lookouts. Todays guest is a Toyota fan. Not only has he owned a variety of modified 4Runners and Tacomas, he is also the sales and marketing manager for Toyota Specialists Krave Automotive in Calgary.
