Bertha McKinney has a strong commitment to the North Minneapolis community. She grew up in Mississippi and Chicago, and settled in North Minneapolis in 1990 after several moves around the country. Now, she is serving as Community Liaison for the Health Commons at the Living Room, a drop-in health and wellness space that provides everything from health education, to snacks, to massages.
