Who built the world’s most trusted reputation without ever being interviewed, operates across borders without visas, and measures success not in profit but in belief sustained year after year?
Since Last year we’ve been doing a Christmas Drama right around this time
of year. And this year is no different. The only difference this year will be that we’re not going to play character, we’ll be playing ourselves. Because this year’s radio drama will be all about getting Marli and Thabo into the Christmas Spirit.
A few weeks ago Marli shared a story about a man named Sello who's do 'Option' got run over by a vehicle, and because they were situated in a quite remote area, Sello wasn't sure if he would be able to get 'Option' somewhere quickly enough where Option's life would be saved. He ended up walking 15 km to the Virginia SPCA with the wounded dog.
Recently there's been a few updates regarding the story: Sello's dog, Option, survived and is recovering well (despite having to have his one leg amputated). The community also chipped in and covered all of Option's medical and other expenses.
To top it all off, Sello managed to get a job opportunity at the Virginia SPCA, which means he is close to Option, and he really loves the job and is so thankful for the opportunity
Who keeps the legend alive without ever flying, feeds the myth without ever being seen,
and proves that every great miracle is backed by unpaid logistics, emotional labour, and someone remembering where everything is?
From headline-making moments to stories that had everyone talking, Thabo runs through the biggest news events of the year in this fast-paced feature. A quick recap of the moments that shaped the year, sparked conversations, and dominated the timeline.
It’s December, but the Christmas spirit is nowhere to be found. Thabo and Marli admit they’re just not feeling festive this year, no decorations up, no solid plans for Christmas Day, and zero holiday hype. A real, relatable chat for anyone else quietly skipping the tinsel this season. 🎄
Who turned the front-facing camera into a confessional booth, where comedy dressed as chaos slowly revealed ambition, strategy, and a masterclass in surviving visibility in a country that loves you loudly and criticises you even louder?
