I purposely interviewed local real estate guru and financial expert Baskal Korkis to prove an important point.  Investing in buy-and-hold residential real estate is not passive!  Baskal shares his journey investing in real estate, how he acquired 23 doors by 23 years old (yes you read that right).  He gives an update on the impact Covid had on his personal portfolio, and why he's hoarding cash now (and why you should too).  We briefly cover when a future recession may occur, and Baskal reminds us of his prediction on the economy the first time we met.  Separately, he discusses how social media has aided him in his rise to real estate investing.  Lastly, Baskal also owns several related businesses catered towards helping real estate investors with taxes, insurance, financing and education.
