Mel and Jamie share a mutual fascination with children who kill. As self proclaimed "armchair psychologists" nothing is more intriguing than trying to figure out when a human becomes a murderer and why. 

It is so easy for us to look at serial killers with disgust but when they come in kid size you can't help but try to find someway to excuse their behaviour. In the case of Jesse Pomeroy it was very difficult.
