I want to use this opportunity to tell you about one of my favorite human beings of all time: Charlie Munger. You may have never heard the name Charlie Munger before, but in my line of work, there are very few people who don’t know who he was– or, at the very least, who haven’t been influenced by him in some way.

Charlie was a lot of things: investor, businessman, philanthropist, vice chairman of Berkshire Hathaway, and a key partner to Warren Buffett. He’s famous for his investing acumen, sharp wit, and for being a proponent of the investment philosophy of value investing.
