Night shift, packaging machinery line, double packing.
It´s the winter season and people are shopping like crazy.

Present after present,
still packing after 10 h, standing.
Sitting is not allowed,
reason: less productivity.
So, growing pain
under a plastic Christmas tree.🎄

As the feet are not responding the brain activates a soft pillow imagery and plates of warm food, picking up all sorts of impossible dishes.

The chain goes faster and faster,
makes me smile when I see
the metal band´s albums writing graphics,
like graffiti signing on a wall.
Workers, not understanding the letters,
try to match the albums.

A small, fast-speaking voice says out loud, in the diffusor:
Break! Go on break now!
Then the lady approaches
and starts yelling: Line 9, 15 min break, now. Go, go, go!
If you are late, 30 min off of pay.

I left my station and put the jacket on.
Plastic decorations are everywhere in the warehouse.
Let´s see if the robbery checks are
slowing down the exit.
It seems that it´s going to be possible to get out for 5 min of semi-open view and some fresh air.
