It's impossible for man to receive eternal life on their own. Entering the kingdom of God is impossible without God himself. It would be easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for us to attain salvation ourselves. Join me as we continue talking about the rich and the kingdom of God in Mark 10:23-31.

A man runs up to Jesus, seeking the answer for eternal life. At first, it seems this man is doing everything right, but then Jesus calls him into something he's not ready for. Sell everything he has and give to the poor. Join me as we look at Mark 10:17-22.

Parents were bringing their children to Jesus to be blessed. The disciples tried to shut this down. They didn't understand who was included in the kingdom of God. Jesus sets them straight and teaches them more about their faith. Join me as we talk about Mark 10:13-16.

A crowd gathers once again, but this time the Pharisees are determined to trip Jesus up. What do you think about divorce? A question so divisive in the ancient culture they thought surely Jesus' morals will slip and they'll be able to discredit him. Unfortunately for them, it does not. 

Jesus is still privately teaching his disciples in Capernaum. With a child in his arms, he expresses the seriousness of leading our youth. If we cause them to stumble, it would be better for us to die a horrific death. The next generation is extremely important to Jesus, and it's time for us to wake up and take responsibility.

Mark 9:42-50

The disciples saw a man using Jesus' name to cast out a demon, and since he wasn't one of them, the disciples told him to stop. Jesus corrects the disciples and tells them not to do that because whoever is not against them is for them. Join me as we talk about what this could mean for us today.
