Do you ever see advertisements that sound something like this, “Join my program and follow my proven formula to achieve a 6-figure income in 12 months!”? Wait a few months, and you might see the same coach upping the promise to a 7-figure income.
Now, strategies are great, and we can learn a lot from following one.
The problem with following someone else’s template is that you don’t have that person’s identical experiences and mindset. What sort of changes have they gone through to get where they are? What have they had to learn about themselves? What beliefs do they have about themselves and others that have led them to where they are today?
If you were to adopt the practices that they have today, now that they’ve achieved success, success is unlikely to come to you because you would be skipping some of the vital, foundational steps that happened in the background. All those invisible changes that the public doesn’t see.
I’m talking about unconscious shifts.
You’ve probably heard me say before that you are living your beliefs. You’re living your beliefs right now. So if you want to change something in your world, your beliefs need to change.
Our beliefs are mostly unconscious, and we’re often unable to achieve our conscious goals because of our unconscious beliefs. Our unconscious beliefs create a sort of invisible ceiling and keep us from achieving what we want.
Have you ever heard someone say, “I seem to hit an invisible ceiling and can’t seem to make more money”?
Here are five steps to help you break through your unconscious success ceiling:
Remember that the journey toward success is mostly an unconscious one. With some focus and a supportive community, you can create lasting success in a satisfying way!
