5 Steps to LET GO (before manifesting a new direction) | Episode 22

As we step into a New Year, we are reminded of the importance of honoring the natural cycles of life. We are meant to move through light and dark, yin and yang, winter and summer. Each cycle allows for shedding and rebirth into the next chapter. As we go on an inner journey, one of intentional creation and living from our intuition, it requires we meet multiple versions of ourselves throughout this lifetime.

Sometimes letting go of what no longer serves us can be the hardest part of the process

So how do we grow from one stage to the next? In today’s solo episode we dive into the inner process of letting go. Letting go, in order to move consciously into our next stage, of whatever we are calling in. We highlight the 5 steps of letting go, so we can clear any blockages or attachments, and move forward from a neutral state that allows us to pour all of our energy forward, versus remaining stuck emotionally or energetically to the past

  • Everything operates in cycles and seasons - understanding that aligning with our own rhythm and cycle is an important understanding of creation 
  • Why is it important to let go? What happens when we cling to the past.

5 steps of letting go

  1. Making a decision- everything new comes from an inner decision that it is time to let go. It might now happen overnight, but there is a point when we need to decide to shift our attention away from the past in order to move in a new direction 
  2. Feeling and expressing emotions - We need to allow whatever emotion appears in order to energetically move forward. Depending on how long this chapter has lasted this process will vary and bring up different emotions. All them to move through you and honor the time and space necessary to feel
    • The wisdom of Grief - cleansing of the past and allowing renewal. On the other side of grief is empathy, and a deeper connection with our Heart, and the Heart’s of others
    • The wisdom of Fear - discernment: Understanding what caused the fear, is it a threshold of growth, or a warning sign that something is unsafe or not aligned with you. If it’s not aligned, what do you need in order to feel safe?
    • The wisdom of Resentment - allowing you to understand your boundaries and needs on a deeper level. Transmuting anger from a victim mentality to one of responsibility 
  3. Acceptance
    • Gratitude for what has happened, and lessons learned 
    • Understanding lessons from that chapter and what is tells you about your desires
  4. Manifestation/ vision: Intentionally connecting with what you desire next 
    • The importance of manifesting from the heart vs. the head 
  5. Aligned action
