In this short of ‘Sound Guy’, Zoe Bunyan discusses the stereotypical ‘sound guy’ and the lack of representation of women in audio production. It discusses what the stereotype is, as well as why women are hesitant to take up a career in audio production. This includes topics of gender roles, unequal opportunities, and unrealistic expectations.

 Zoe Bunyan is a Music and Sound Design student at UTS. Born a country girl and moved to the big smoke to peruse a career in audio production or music business.
