You are who you are based on your habitual thoughts and actions of the past. Some of these thought patterns have become so ingrained they are now automatic thoughts. In the same way, you will become who you will become based on what your attitudes and actions today; what you think and do today. If you want to be more motivated, if you want to exercise more, if you want to eat healthy, if you want to take more time for self care, you have to do something different. Starting with changing your thoughts helps. You may start to run or meal prep if you force yourself to do so, but what if you make the experience interesting and fun? You're more likely to WANT to do it versus feeling like it's a chore.
