I am so excited to bring you this interview with my friend, Dr. Ruxandra LeMay, Psy.D. Ruxandra is a Psychologist who provides life changing resources to people who hate therapy.
Would it shock you to learn, her love of psychiatry stemmed from a less than favorable therapy experience herself?
Ruxandra shares with us how she has dealt with anxiety. Specifically we dive into anxiety revolving her fear of flying and how that led to her experience with therapy that changed her life.
I also had previously had a panic-induced fear of flying. I used to literally be terrified to fly. I was one of those crazy people who would talk non-stop because I was scared out of my mind that we were all going to die every time I flew. #truestory
I share some tips of how I overcame my fear of flying.
I love Ruxandra’s approach in her business. Being true and authentic in a massive way, she has chosen to focus on working with clients who she can relate to.
You know, people who hate therapy and think it’s pointless.
To be able to provide the highest level of service to her clients, she feels it’s imperative that she is able to relate to her clients based off her own experiences.
If only we could walk into a doctors office and request that level of service!
“Do you have what you are saying I do? No? Ok – I want to see someone else who can relate by experience.” #mindblown
In this fun and informative interview we dive into so much more including: marriage, relationships, personality types, a tiny rant on parenting, solutions for people who hate therapy, and so much more.
