Today I'll be sharing a bit about how we can use student feedback effectively, why we should, and some ideas on how you can start building a collaborative culture with your own class.

Key Points:

• When we think about getting feedback on our lessons, we typically think of observational feedback from a supervisor, another colleague, or even personal reflections we move through ourselves. And all of these have a place in helping us stretch our practices and grow as educators. But some of the most valuable feedback you can gain is from those who are directly impacted by your pedagogy choices - your students!
• Collaborating with students to reflect on my teaching practices always helps us build a valuable learning space, but this spring, asking for and reviewing student feedback proved to be more worthwhile than ever!
• Asking for regular feedback can help you ensure your practices make sense to your students, and can help you find small ways to adapt or simplify the delivery.
