Two married dummies (Mark and Taylor) discuss AIRHEADS (1994), which scored a paltry 29% on RT. Brendan Fraser, Steve Buscemi, and Adam Sandler star as an unsuccessful rock band, The Lone Rangers. Desperate to get their demo played on the air, the group breaks into a radio station. But when met with resistance, they wind up holding the station employees hostage with realistic toy guns. The reviews were largely negative, but it's almost universally loved by people who've, at one time or another, drank in a van parked outside of an all-ages show. We discuss AIRHEADS, how it connects to the punk satire site The Hard Times, what critics misunderstood, LIVING IN OBLIVION (1995), and Nakatomi Plaza.
