50 States of Weird

For decades, Area 51 wasn’t supposed to exist. Hidden deep in the Nevada desert, it became the center of some of the most persistent theories in modern history. But behind the secrecy, there’s a real story—one that starts with experimental aircraft and quickly turns into something much harder to explain.

From eyewitness accounts, to Bob Lazar’s claims of otherworldly technology, this episode breaks down what we know, what we’ve been told, and what might still be hidden.

A quiet Iowa town.
A series of sightings.
And something moving through the night that no one could explain.

In 1903, the town of Van Meter reported encounters with a creature unlike anything they had ever seen—glowing horn, odd movement, and a presence that didn’t behave like any known animal.

What started as isolated sightings quickly turned into something bigger… and far harder to understand.

A remote ranch in Utah becomes the center of one of the strangest investigations ever conducted—where UFO sightings, unexplainable figures, and disturbing patterns all collide in one place.

For decades, scientists, billionaires, and even the U.S. government have tried to understand what’s happening here… and failed.

Because whatever is out there doesn’t stay, doesn’t repeat, and doesn’t want to be understood.

Before modern prisons, there was an experiment.

At Eastern State Penitentiary, inmates were kept in total isolation… no contact, no sound, no escape from their own minds.

What started as reform turned into something much darker.

In this episode, we break down the history, the psychological toll, and why many believe something still lingers inside those cell blocks.

Lights in the sky.
People going missing—or ending up miles off course.
Encounters that don’t quite make sense.

At Mount Shasta, the stories don’t stay in the past—they repeat.

In this episode, we explore the history, the sightings, and the theories behind one of the most mysterious locations in the United States.

People didn’t just see something in Point Pleasant, West Virginia in 1966—

they kept seeing it.

Different nights. Different locations. Same description every time.

The Mothman story isn’t about one encounter. It’s about what happens when sightings don’t stop… and then suddenly do.

There’s a massive forest in New Jersey that shouldn’t exist.

For over 250 years, people have been seeing something in it—wings, hooves, and a scream that doesn’t sound right.

In this episode, we break down the Jersey Devil… from its origin in the 1700s to the week in 1909 when sightings exploded and entire towns started shutting down.
