Between braids, weaves, wigs and "anything that starts with a W," protective styling was supposed to protect the hair. But what happens when the style becomes permanent — and the creamy crack starts whispering your name again?

In this funny, unfiltered episode of 50ish & Fab, KC confronts the complicated relationship between Black women, natural hair, aging, and beauty after 50 — including research raising serious questions about chemical straighteners and hormone-related cancers.
