There were so many wisdom-nuggets in my conversation with Sherrika Sanders. Sherrika says that in order to believe & DO bigger and better we need to just stop and take a minute and do a reset. She takes us on a journey of how she took action and how she transformed into the confident person she is today. She started out nervous and shaking, yet she never gave up. Sherrika also says when we take the time to do the work, make connections, and invest in ourselves, we can achieve much.

Sherrika Sanders is a wife, mother, and Accountant by trade for over 15 years. While her years as an Accountant provided much growth, it was during this time that Sherrika learned to be seen and not heard. She was constantly reminded that she should be proud of being the only one in the room that looked like her (especially with her non-traditional background). Sherrika felt her voice was taken. After years of no work/life balance, taking working vacations based on the company's schedule, and being expected to always be available for the needs of the company, Sherrika decided enough was enough. As a result, she started Transform the GAAP (Goals Assigned Achieving Purpose) to help women in leadership address and eliminate the roadblocks and challenges that are hindering them from excelling in their career.
