That was a posture joke, but Patricia Ladis is not kidding. “No matter what, every woman over 35 should start strength training,” she says, which is not an unfamiliar recommendation to many of us by now, but I loved this chat with her because she really drives home the WHY. And the HOW. So no joke-take notes.
In historical studies of conditions that primarily affect women, women were not part of the study until 1993. Yep. So when we say it's on us to manage our own health, we are literally bearing that weight.
