The first part of the fight is over, but it looks like there is more to come. Trigger suspected they would try something like this, so he set a trap for them. He sees this as his chance to get a leg up on Whisper so he can have his way in the underworld. 

He monologues. The party ignores him. Then he sicks the robot, a Hunter Kanasi, on them. So starts another fight, and this one may be for their lives.
