Today I continue my celebration of early Bay Area, Thrash Metal with the legendary drummer Andy Galeon.

Andy has been playing drums professionally since he was 9 years old. This man instantly became a star behind the kick bashing it out in his band Death Angel.

Some of his earliest gigs were opening for Mercyful Fate, Metallica and Megadeth.

Andy sits down and talks about his long career in Thrash Metal and the ups and downs of the music biz.
