Researchers developed
CMAP, a "divide-and-conquer" algorithm that maps
single-cell RNA-seq data to precise
spatial locations. By integrating transcriptomics with spatial context, it overcomes low gene recovery to reveal
cellular heterogeneity and
microenvironment interactions.
