After a month break, the podcast is back! And I spoke to the chef Marni who explained a little bit what life was like growing up in Khao-Sarn, the very famous and lively street in Bangkok where she was surrounded by lovely street food. That experience gave her a bit of a base and inspiration for her recipes that she have developed through the years in the UK. She managed to go from cooking for survival to actually developing a hobby which is bringing her recognition through her social media and events. Her success comes from developing easy Thai food with British produce. We spoke about why she moved to the UK, Thai stereotypes, her professional career, being Buddhist, her point of view on the animal welfare in her country and more.
