James is the current GB U-16 basketball Head Coach. He joined Barking Abbey in the 2014-15 season, bringing a wealth of international experience with him. Previously, James has coached in Canada at Dalhousie University before taking a lead assistant position with the Great Britain u-20 Men. He was then offered his first pro coaching job in Denmark with the Aalborg Vikings Basketball Club, where he picked up Coach of the Year while leading them to a team record for wins and their first playoff appearance.
