Kurt's void of an environment where he could flourish as a boxer led him to create the spaces that are now TBO, he chats about his early days as a competitive boxer and even hints at a looming return. Surprisingly Kurt had zero qualifications in commerce and he explains how his experiences and vision drove him to create one of the most successful and rapidly-growing boxing gym chains in Auckland. Kurt doesn't take full credit though, he praises the people he's partnered with and the trainers he works with that make the culture at TBO second to none.
