Over the past year, our Pacific communities have advised Pasifika Futures and their partners that responding and supporting families with mental health needs are a priority.

As a result, Pasifika Futures commissioned “Ngalu Fānifo – A new wave for mental well-being” as our collective response to this call from our communities.

Pasifika Futures started this initiative last year but now with the partnership of Pacific Media Network they have an opportunity to support our communities over a wider platform, over our 6 week talanoa sessions. 

Our Pacific families  will have access to a skilled and trained workforce of practitioners who understand the context of our lives, understand our uniqueness and diversity and who can access the resources families need to manage their own mental health challenges.
