We welcome back Seini Falefata, qualified & practising Psychiatric Nurse with Etu Pasifika in Christchurch, for our talanoa series "Ngalu Fanifo" - A new wave for mental wellbeing on Pacific Days.
Today - A recent article in the NZ Herald highlighted the rising numbers of “self-harm” admissions to hospitals amongst young people. This is an indication of what many are calling a “mental health crisis” among our youth. We will explore this in today's talanoa with Seini and continue next week with a wider panel that includes young people.
