533-SLC45A1 Loss and the Neural Lysosomal Proteome Landscape

Listen Later

Researchers developed a cell-type-specific lysosomal atlas of the brain using LysoIP and proteomics. They identified SLC45A1 as a critical lysosomal glucose transporter in neurons. Its absence impairs lysosomal acidity, V-ATPase assembly, and metabolic recycling, linked to disease.
