*I totally made the an unconscious and thoughtless assumption that Raven Kaldera is a woman without further research and referred to Raven with “she” pronouns. One of my listeners called me in (thank you) and let me know that Raven is a queer human who does not identify as a woman. I just visited Raven’s website and checked (which I should have done before any mention of the book). As far as I can tell, Raven refers to himself with “he” pronouns and says he has a complex identity. I apologize and take responsibility for my hurtful mistake. It’s never my intention to misgender & I will be more conscious in the future.
