nib Newcastle Knights prop forward, Leo Thompson makes his debut on the KNIGHTS // HQ Podcast.

Thompson grew up in New Zealand and has a crazy journey to rugby league, including a chance encounter leading to an opportunity at the Canberra Raiders. 

Fast forward to 2023 and Leo hasn't missed a game for the red and blue in the midst of his second season in the NRL.

Listen in as we preview this weekend's huge clash against the Brisbane Broncos, plus reflects on representing the Māori All Stars at the start of the year. 

The boys also answered some quick-fire questions to get to know our prop forward including his junior club and his proudest off-field achievement.

Leo also has a twin brother, Tyrone, who plays in the Super Rugby competition with the Chiefs as the boys talked about growing up in New Zealand and his proud Māori culture.
