We live in a culture obsessed with possessing more. For many, more stuff equals more success. What would happen if we got obsessed with less? My guest in today’s episode has built a thriving business helping people live with less so they have more space and freedom to live a larger, more meaningful life.
There are many benefits to owning less stuff. One of my favorite benefits is how much time we can save by not having to clean, organize, or maintain the stuff we own. But owning less doesn’t just mean more time and money in your pocket, it also means less stress and more mental space for those things that truly bring you joy, like spending time with your family or supporting other causes that are close to your heart.
I had a great discussion with Brenda Parmelee, a small living expert, on how living with less and creating a home oasis is the first step in living a larger more fulfilled life. Whether you have that one junk drawer that just won’t go away or want to overhaul every area in your home, this episode will help you get started on living with less (or living smaller as Brenda would say) without the overwhelm that usually comes with letting go of our stuff.
