In this week’s dose of Magic for Realists I share with you how this concept of a “status update” is present and helpful for me. Like on a road trip, even if we don’t know where we’re going, or have a tidy solution, updating each other on current feelings, needs and desires, enables honest connection and innovative solutions. I give various examples of how I’ve employed this in my life. I muse about attuned honesty, instead of unbounded, and the illusion of things staying the same. At the end, I’m delighted to share with you an original song I wrote and Matt Epp recorded. It’s thematic and loving and goofy and it’s called “Road Trip”.
