For the world, the pandemic has created an unprecedented crisis. Conversely, it has provided opportunities to separate ourselves further from the world and strengthen the elect's faith. Human intelligence and morality cannot save a person from spiritual darkness and death. Education and theology cannot cure spiritual blindness. We need illumination that comes with conversion. "In {Jesus} was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not." (John 1:4-5) In other words, darkness could not overpower or extinguish the light. (September 9. 2020)
