These two chapters are probably the most important of Luke’s gospel. He tells us how Jesus spent the last days of his life. He predicts the destruction of Jerusalem and describes his second coming. The last supper with his disciples, his betrayal by Judas and his trial by the Jewish authorities are also described.

این دو فصل مهم‌ترین قسمت انجیل لوقا می‌باشد . او آخرین روزهای عیسی را شرح می‌دهد و پیشبینی خرابی خانه خدا و علایم آخر زمان و آمدن خودش روی ابر ها را می‌دهد. شام آخرش را با رسولان و شروع عهد جدید را توضیح می‌دهد. خیانت یهودا و دستگیری او ‌و محاکمه آش توسط شورای عالی یهود را بیان می‌کند.
