Ken Smith began his career in 1993 with Lincoln National. He graduated from Tampa College with a degree in Management and Marketing.

After starting his financial advisory firm in 1994, his focus shifted to financial planning with a tax mitigation emphasis. In 2003, he developed expertise in tax-efficient retirement planning, which allowed him to maintain his position in the top 1% of all financial professionals. He qualified in the top 1% for 18 straight years of his career.

In 2010, he recognized a dramatic change in the financial planning arena and began working with CPAs. In 2014, he co-founded Elite Resource Team and Elite Assurance Team to provide advisors with training, systems, and products to develop profitable CPA partnerships.

He currently resides in Tampa, FL, with his wife. Outside of work, he enjoys family, church activities, and working out.

Ken’s focus within Elite Assurance Team is agent development and internal operations.
