Dr. Florence Muindi and Simon Mbevy are the guests on this week’s show. Florence and Simon are brother and sister from Nairobi, Kenya. They talk to Chad and Kurt about a myriad of subjects - from the powerful influence of their father in their lives, to politics, and to the rising involvement of men in the churches of Africa.
Dr. Florence Muindi gave up her medical practice (twenty-one years ago) to head up Life in Abundance International (LIA), a ministry to help the poor and vulnerable (www.lifeinabundance.org). LIA serves in twelve countries in Africa and two countries in the Caribbean. Simon Mbevy left his law practice to work full-time for Transform Nations - an organization that focuses on prayer and on men’s ministry. Simon’s advice to men, “Dads, it’s never too late to speak words of acceptance and affirmation into the lives of your children.”
