Southeast Christian Church

Jesus says the meek will inherit the earth. Meekness isn’t weakness but power under control. Paired with a hunger for righteousness, His message reframes ambition: true strength is surrendering your grip, and true ambition is wanting more of God.

Matthew 5:5-6 Speaker: Kyle Idleman

Jesus declares that blessed are the poor in spirit, blessed are those who mourn. Those closest to the Kingdom aren’t those spending life trying to appear full—it’s those no longer pretending. Until we’re empty, we can’t receive what He longs to give.

Matthew 5:3-4 Speaker: Kyle Idleman

As a church, we want to see every generation chase after Jesus, displaying lives that bear much fruit. Join us on this special Student Takeover weekend as we are challenged to live connected, obedient, and fruitful lives in every season. Speaker: Brock O'Dell

Kingdom parties are different from the world’s—not because of food or decor, but because of who’s present. Scripture shows Jesus’ invitation to follow Him goes to everyone: rich or poor, joyful or hurting, those who believe they’d never be invited. Speaker: Kyle Idleman

Everything in this series—the battle, the power, the redemption, the community—only makes sense in light of eternity. It’s not a consolation prize; it’s the destination giving everything else meaning. What if we lived today like forever is coming? Speaker: Kyle Idleman

Maybe the most distinctively Christian idea is this: nothing is wasted and no one is too far gone. The Kingdom of God is history’s greatest recycling program, taking the broken and making it new. Transformation is possible because of one man: Jesus.

John 4:1-26 Speaker: Dave Stone

The Kingdom doesn’t just name the problem; it brings the solution. Wherever Jesus went, things changed. That authority didn’t retire at His ascension. It was released through His Spirit and people. We are to live like the Kingdom is real in practice. Speaker: Trip Lee

Most of us know the Christian life involves spiritual warfare but don’t live like it. We treat the enemy as abstraction while our marriages, thoughts, and faith take hits. Paul said our battle isn’t against flesh and blood. What if we believed that?

Ephesians 6: 10-18 Speaker: Kyle Idleman

Nobody warns you how quickly the Red Sea fades. One day a miracle; the next a mob. What kept Moses wasn’t momentum but showing up desperate before God every day. Manna came every morning—just enough, never extra. That’s the rhythm God wants for us.

Exodus 16: 1-30 (with Exodus 14: 21-31; 15: 22-24) Speaker: Lucas DeVries

As the plagues unfold, Moses sees God do what only God can. Each miracle reminds him the mission was never his. When God moves, we aren’t to take credit—we’re to trust more deeply, point others to Him more clearly, and remember who is really leading.
