It's been 550 days since I've been on stage. In about an hour, it will be midnight in New York, which will bring us the 20th anniversary of 9/11. I'm a bit down, and it's been too long since i've been creative. In my effort to try to return to some form of creativity, I forced myself to record a podcast. I started and stopped many times, until I finally just looked in a mirror and spoke to myself, honestly, and vulnerably. And then I went to sleep and the next day I went to work. When I returned, I found two characters who had stumbled upon my recording. The Asshole and The Clown meant well in their own way, but how much can you really expect from a Clown and an Asshole?
Nevertheless, for better or worse, here we are, dealing with the characters in my life, in my head, and in my heart.
Tommy Galan Isn't Funny...but hopefully there is something funny deep within.
