The guys are joined by a very special guest, Tim Pierce, one of the greatest session guitarists of the modern era and an extraordinary teacher. Tim tells us about how he found the perfect work / life balance having spent four decades working with some of the greatest musicians of all time. It would be easier to tell you about the artists he hasn't played with than those he has. 

Blake asks him about what it's like to be THE guitar guy and Tim breaks down some great recommendations for budget guitars and budget rigs. Brian and he discuss the new breed of modelers and Richard tries to wangle a freebie. Tim has great taste in amplifiers and Richard is very impressed. He also goes a bit fanboy crazy when a certain British band-member is mentioned and Brian has to tell him off before Tim tells us some insanely cool inside track stories. 

Tim tells us about some of his early gear choices before Brian asks him about his masterclass website and how that took off. It's a fascinating look into how Tim saw the writing on the wall in the music industry and pivoted to fit.
