A story of a young man on a quest for different experiences through his many alter egos one being ice cold jónzy another is Steve Jones who is learning that everything is everything. Estabanico who is the other self that has seen and been through a lot. These stories all come from having a inferiority complex and that complex leads little Esteban to search inside his soul and find his other self. While traveling he learns how to master the art of Mindfulness. He stumbles upon dieting tips at Hungry Harolds in LA and begins practicing poetry and mindfulness with Jaysen King for the summer back in Michigan. Steve Jones Jr. Estabanico’s other self is in Woodland Park, Michigan having conflicts and begins to argue with his father on and off about little Steve smoking weed and his dad’s alcohol abuse to his gratefulness and his appreciation for MUSIC.
Michigan native Ice Cold Jónzy originally got his moniker from his favorite rapper Andre 3000. Ice Cold Jónzy was born in Los Angeles, Calif., and relocated to Northern Michigan with family where he went to grade school. Ice Cold Jónzy was born at Kaiser Permanente on Sept. 4th 1988. He was born Steve Jones Jr. and nicknamed Rocket in memory of his older brother who drowned in their pool in the backyard of their own home. Rocket moved with family to Michigan where he moved around from Woodland Park, Michigan to Grand Rapids. Woodland Park is a Historical Site for Blacks that was roaring with business in the 1920s.
After finding his love for hip hop as a teen, his rhymes grew into more than punchlines, and catchy adlibs. They grew into a message of Hope, and a call to action to inspire. Now his slow flow creates a new genre called soul rap which influences music lovers of all nationalities all over the world.
Ice Cold Jónzy is a storyteller from the past. He is an intellectual creative person who has created many revenues for his creativity. From Music to Film, his many personalities range around his idea that you can and YOU should do what you love by any means necessary.
Ice Cold Jónzy is a great asset to his family and his community. In 2018 Jonzy chose to take on a few substitute teaching positions in white cloud Michigan and was let go from his job as a permanent substitute when he chose to rap his songs for the kids. Ever since ice cold jónzy was let go many fans have gone to spotify and youtube to find the rapping math teacher and a fire was lit underneath the artist to gain more exposure and become the artist that everyone has been waiting to see blossom.
After walking away from his love for teaching Rocket has moved back to Los Angeles to pursue music.
His listens to his father. The hand that rocks the cradle should also rock the boat.
His background in music appreciation is extensive and the new music he is creating is nostalgic and has a reggae undertone to the it.
Jónzy took a toots and the maytals approach to life.
He put them on repeat and changed his approach to life.
His is free. Waling like the Wailers He is a soul rebel like Bob Marley. He has tapped into his Jamaican Roots.
We are no longer worried. We've taken the worry out of our vocabulary. We speak it into existence. So Don't let no one.
Marcus Garvey taught us to look within, he taught us to look onward and forward. He taught us to look to Africa for our heritage. He taught us that. He instilled that wisdom into Ice Cold Jónzy’s dad's side of the family. His dad was on that same wavelength. His dad taught him about their ancestors, which led back to Marcus Garvey, Uncle Malcolm, Bob Marley and the like. We're it not for the Tomorrow People, we wouldn't have today.
