Rob teaches Ray about how ABC - with the help of Jim Janicek and some stellar theme song writers - dug itself out of a programming rut with some inspired marketing moves and savvy show scheduling; the charismatic young actor whose glasses-wearing, nasal-voiced, B-plot character ended up changing Family Matters from a message-driven drama into a comedic sensation; why Bea Arthur is now also a dancing goddess; and the many ways cable television channels have tried to recreate (or in ABC's case, recapture) the glory that was TGIF.
