We weren't created to always feel happy, great, or excited.
I talk a lot about God's 50/50 for our human life - He purposefully created us to experience both negative and positive emotions.
If we fail to understand that, then when we experience lots of negative emotions we start thinking there's something wrong with us, we start feeling bad about feeling bad, and we seek out comfort and short-term pleasures to resist those negative feelings.
We can learn how to create more of the feelings we want to have in our life, but another very important skill to learn is how to allow our feelings - ALL of them.
That's such an important skill for our human life because our feelings drive our actions so if we're constantly having a bunch of crappy feelings, we're continually going to be taking a bunch of crappy actions
When we learn to allow our feelings -- it's not only easier to create more empowering feelings -- it's also easier to take constructive actions even when negative feelings show up.
Join me and learn how to allow your feelings so you can better control both your feelings and your reactions to them.
There is a time to weep. And there’s a time to laugh. There is a time to be sad. And there’s a time to dance. Ecclesiastes 3:4 NIRV
