In today's episode, I talk about how we can be our most authentic selves, and if we've forgotten what that feels like, how to get back there. We go through times in life where we slide into phases of inauthenticity in an attempt to fit a mold, please others or play a role. Some think conforming feels safer, but it's a false sense of security. Trying to be someone else takes an exorbitant amount of physical, mental and emotional energy. When we are inauthentic, we have trouble enjoying life, developing deep relationships and pursuing our passions. When we allow ourselves to fully be who we're meant to be, life becomes much easier and more joyful. We feel it and those around us feel it. I hope today's episode not only encourages you to be more authentic but also offers some practical strategies to get moving in that direction.
