April 01, 2019Podcast 28: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the "Green New Deal"Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has come onto the political scene fast and hard. Most noteworthy, Joe Crowley lost his seat to her and she hasn't looked back since. He had been a congressman for in the 7th and 14th district for a 20 year career and it was considered a huge upset. Her politics are considered "far left". Therefore, she has some very strong opinions on what she thinks needs to happen. Today we go over where she came from and how she made it to her current position. After that we are going to talk about how she is challenging the establishment and what the "Green New Deal" is.Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a Democratic Socialist. It comes from the fact that she thinks we should give life sustaining jobs and free health care for all but no plan on how to implement it. I also go over some statistics about pollution and where the United States stands in the scheme of things....more40minPlay
March 28, 2019Podcast 27: Pre on Being Subjective When Watching the NewsPre talks about awareness, fitness, and being subjective when watching the news. Generally being aware is being mindful of your surroundings. Being able to recognize when things don't seem right. Normally when we walk around we don't pay attention to what is going on around us. That is a problem. I want people to take their heads out of their phones and start paying attention to who is walking around. Coming off of a cold winter is great. Problem is our muscles are tight and need to be loosened up for spring and summer activity. Paying attention to your body is crucial. If you don't injuries will occur and you don't want that happening. Watching the news can be difficult. Depending on what you watch, you are most likely getting a point of view from a specific political agenda. It seems the days of the facts being put out to the people are gone. Now if you are right or left you get news telling you what that specific outlet wants you to hear. Tailored news towards a specific agenda. It stokes the flame. This is a problem. Most noteworthy is a lot of people don't have a problem with this. Probably because they don't know that it is happening. So I ask that we be subjective. Take what is put out and investigate ourselves to make sure we get the facts....more21minPlay
March 25, 2019Podcast 26: Lane Belone on Special Forces, Mindset, and TravelingLane Belone gives insight on his Special Forces career, mindset, and traveling this week on the podcast. Lane also gives us his mindset on making it through selection and how he trained. After his time in the military one of the more noteworthy things he has accomplished is to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. Having a conversation with a stranger and taking in the whole experience. It was a great opportunity to interview this man and everyone should have a great experience listening to his podcast....more57minPlay
March 21, 2019Podcast 25: Nepotism is Meant to Help but Seldomly DoesNepotism is meant to help but seldomly does. Nepotism is something that isn't taken into consideration while you are doing it. At the moment you are looking to help but not thinking about the person's growth. It's as the saying in The Bible goes, "Give a man a fish and feed him for a day, teach him to fish and feed him for a lifetime". Life lessons are always the hardest lesson's learned. As parents we try to give our kids a better life than ours but don't take into consideration that hard times are needed for character development. As is the case with Lori Laughlin and therefore many others that are embroiled in this college bribery scandal. I think as parents they missed the point of what they were doing. If your kids can't get into college, they shouldn't be there. Money does't change what they are. By missing that point they got themselves into a lot of trouble that money may not be able to get the out of.Nepotism is meant to help but seldomly does. Instead of giving the answers we should show them how to find them on their own....more25minPlay

March 07, 2019Podcast 21: Leaving Neverland BreakdownLeaving Neverland is the hottest topic on all the news feeds therefore we breakdown a timeline of the events and have a discussion on the documentary. Michael Jackson was bigger than life for a lot of people. Most importantly did that play a roll with what happened? Why did Wade Robson and Jimmy Safechuck wait so long to report this? Why did their parents let them sleep in the same bed with an adult male? Was it worth it? Sadly both of their families paid a big price when they let Michael Jackson into their lives. It seems as if behavior from our entertainers is playing a bigger roll. From minor drug charges to some being pedophiles we need to ask our selves, can we separate art from the person? Leaving Neverland is not an easy watch. It's difficult to watch things on this subject matter and besides you have us to listen to. Out of the 4 hour and 4 minute run (which they break up into 2 episodes each 2 hours and 2 minutes) we give you all the most noteworthy details 42 minutes....more42minPlay

There are people who don't see it this way therefore we can't disclose the identity of our guest this week for his own protection. There is a lot that goes into policing today's streets. February 28, 2019Podcast 19: Robert Kraft AllegationsRobert Kraft and massage parlors is about Robert Kraft getting caught getting a happy ending at a massage parlor. Is this really news? Apparently it is because he is the owner of the New England Patriots who just won the Super Bowl. Should there be repercussions from the NFL? I think the story coming out and him taking a brunt of the blame is harsh. The story should be "Prostitution was discovered at this massage parlor". What does it matter who the person is. It's an interesting argument because how can you punish an owner like Robert Kraft, or any owner for that matter? You can be charged but should the league discipline you?We also talk about an interesting yet funny conspiracy theory that Mike has about Katy PerryHave a listen and feel free to laugh because this story is true....more31minPlay
